  In honour of Ireland’s Year of Science, Deputy Chief of Mission John Hennessey-Niland has announced the details of the “Captioning Space Camp” Competition.   Abbott, the health care company, is running a competition on the Breakfast with Hector radio show on RTÉ 2fm all this week to celebrate national Science Week.   League of Extraordinary Elements

  All across Ireland primary school children are being invited to participate in an exciting science-art competition to celebrate Science Week 2011 and its theme ‘The Chemistry of Life’.   Science Snaps

  The Science Snaps photography competition, in association with Discover Science and Engineering, and Tyndall National Institute, UCC, invites students and members of the public to capture ‘The Chemistry of Life’, the 2011 Science Week theme.

  The competition is open to second level students and the general public with great prizes in three categories including a laptop, cameras, phones and photography courses.
