Key Resources for 2011
Event Organisers
Whether you are organising an event in a school, a library, an IT, or a university, there are a number of resources available here that can help you to get the most out of your event. Here you will find downloadable posters, logos, ‘How to get involved’ guide and an FAQ that will get you started. The FAQ will help you with any general questions and will guide you on how to upload events and photos to the website. You can also use the sample press release to issue a notice to your local media; while the sample exit survey can be used to ask attendees at your event to give some feedback, helping you to evaluate the success of your event.
You will find a comprehensive roadshow database, with full contact details and show descriptions of performers that you may wish to bring to your venue. There are a number of activity sheets in the Primary and Secondary resource sections that you may also wish to print off and use during your event. These may also be useful for you if you are looking for ideas for schools-based events.
