The workshop will consist of a screening of the film “The Speaking Horse of Cuilcagh”, after which the animator, Margaret McKenna, will tell her story of how she was first inspired by the wonderful folklore of Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, showing the children the process, from early sketches to storyboard to the final animation. T

he children will then design their own storybook, using teamwork to brainstorm ideas and establish a storyline, after which they will create their own illustrated booklet, based on the overall story theme, but each reflecting the individuality, creativity and expression of each child.
