Curated by Mary Doyle Burke and funded by CALMAST WIT @ SETU for Science Week Ireland, this group exhibition brings together Irish artists who blend science and art. Through diverse works, the exhibition explores themes like aquatic ecosystems and natural materials. It connects science and art by showcasing works from artists who explore the crossover between the two fields. It highlights how art can be used to investigate and express scientific concepts, such as aquatic ecosystems and natural organic materials. The artists use their creativity to translate science into visual forms that enhance, understand and challenge linear thinking. This collaboration fosters curiosity and opens up new possibilities for interpreting science through artistic expression.
A guided tour for secondary school students will also be part of the event.
