About Lismore Conversations That Matter
Beginning in October 2023, and running on a fortnightly basis, the LCTM series invited a facilitator to host a Conversation on various inter-disciplinary topics to engage members of the wider public on matters of cultural, political, and social concerns of the day. Our first LCTM series commenced with a series of conversations under the general title of ‘Being Well and Staying Well’. We have continued the series in the Spring of 2024 under the title of ‘Hope In a Time of Democratic Fragility’. In total, we have convened a total of 11 facilitators, bringing conversations on a broad range of topics of concern to a wider public of over 300 people.
Our upcoming series will host conversations that matter on ‘On the Human Person’ and ’The Arts and the Environment’.
