The cold facts of climate change can be paralysing, the figures too abstract. We alsoneed to engage our emotions and to find creative ways to navigate these uncertainand frightening times.
These creative workshops are an opportunity to do just that: together we will breakdown the dry, factual texts – newspaper reports, science magazines – of climatechange into fragments. Then we will reimagine them artistically to createzines and collages that allow us to find alternative ways to engage withenvironmental change beyond only the intellectual.
These crafting workshops are open to all, providing a space to discuss our feelings towardsclimate breakdown and the value of the arts in making sense of environmentalchange. Then we will produce artworks that respond to the changing environment ofour coasts.
