Nature Walk
Coastal Cartography

As part of Coastal Cartographies – Science Week 2025, this field walk explores the evolving story of Lark Park, a site once used as a landfill and now transformed into a thriving eco-park. Together with a geographer, historian, and ecologist, participants will trace the line between land and sea, discovering how restoration, ecology, and imagination can reshape a place over time.

Through walking, observation, and creative mapping, we’ll explore the connections between human impact, renewal, and resilience — from mudflats and dune systems to wildflowers, birds, and future visions of sustainable living. Co-facilitated by SEA School Studios & Labs and Street Art Inc., this session continues our shared journey of mapping Waterford’s changing coastal realities.
