As part of Coastal Cartographies – Science Week 2025, this final gathering invites reflection and dialogue over coffee, community, and coastal stories. Hosted in the welcoming space of the Book Bar, the Science Café & Panel Discussion will weave together insights from our field walks — mapping, memory, environment, and imagination.
Co-hosted by ecologist Tasneem Khan and WLR radio presenter Aoibhín Fallon (of Waterford in Action – A Climate Discussion).
The afternoon will feature voices from heritage, ecology, navigation, planning, and lived experience — joined by participants from earlier workshops — in a relaxed conversational format. Together, we’ll explore what the coast has been, is now, and could become.
