Green day – Sustainability event

We are delighted to bring Green Day, a sustainability event, to the SETU Waterford Cork Road Campus on Tuesday, 11 November 2025. There will be stands to visit in the Atrium in the main building from 10.00am to 2.00pm to find out information about how to live more sustainably. Also, Waterford Sustainable Living are running workshops in the GrowthHub to offer tips on how to make your own eco-friendly cleaning products and tips to reduce reliance on chemicals. These events are located in the Atrium, Main Building at SETU Waterford, Cork Road Campus
- Home Energy Grants: Find out about home energy upgrades and how to apply for a grant to upgrade your home from SEAI.
- Energy saving technology for your home: Kelliher’s Electrical will demonstrate the latest renewable technologies and energy saving devices for your home: Solar panels, solar battery storage, LED lighting and EV chargers.
- Energy Clinic: With energy costs increasing you can book a meeting to review your energy bills. Are you on the right tariff for your energy usage? Expert advice will be provided by Conor through the Optimising Power at Work (OPW). To book please email sustainability@setu.ie
- Repair Workshop: Can the small electrical item or device you have be repaired at home or at work? Bring the device or photos for some diagnostics through the repair workshop.
- Bicycle Lights: Waterford Council Active Travel Team stand plus Bicycle lights to give away.
Sustainable cleaning products workshop:
- Waterford Sustainable Living will run a workshop on how you can use more Sustainable cleaning products. The Sustainable cleaning products workshop will be held in the GrowthHub, Business Building at SETU Waterford, Cork Road Campus. The workshop will run at 12:15pm and again at 1:15pm to show you how to make your own eco-friendly cleaning products and simple tips to reduce reliance on chemicals.
