Skywatching with the South East Astronomy group – Waterford.

Join us at Kingsmeadow Green to watch the night sky with an expert from the South East Astronomy group.

Public Observing Watch: Thursday 13th November at 7.30 pm: Kingsmeadow Green, Old Cork Road, Waterford. Saturn, Comet Swan, Capella & Vega. If visibility and seeing conditions are good it should be possible to observe Uranus & Neptune and to split Capella (a double star) & Vega (as a double or even a “double double” ) using the 10 inch club Dobsobian. Comet Lemmon will have set while Jupiter & Orion will rise during the Watch. The Moon will be a waning Crescent and won’t rise until midnight.
