My Moving Brain – Community Connect Event

This inspiring event brings the community together to share insights, ideas, and experiences around brain health, exploring how we can remove barriers that limit participation in sport for people living with brain conditions. Hear from motivational speakers, athletes, and experts on how brain conditions affect sport and discover practical ways to promote inclusion. Enjoy hands-on science with FutureNeuro’s brain research activities — from extracting DNA to exploring brain waves — and take part in fun ‘come and try’ sports sessions for all ages and abilities, hosted by Galway Sports Partnership and local clubs.

The event is funded by the Research Ireland Discover Programme and delivered in partnership with Epilepsy Ireland, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland, and the Galway Sports Partnership, with the support of the Galway Science & Technology Festival. We’re delighted that the event is part of the Festival’s 2025 programme.
