BODY is a captivating outdoor installation that brings human biology to life through a fusion of light, sound, and fire. Created by renowned UK pyrotechnics and theatre company Walk the Plank, this immersive experience invites audiences to explore the wonders of the human body in a truly unforgettable way.

In 2022, Science Week brought BODY to Dublin’s Merrion Square, where thousands of visitors embarked on a multi-sensory journey through six dynamic zones. Each zone combined cutting-edge technology with stunning visual effects to reveal the inner workings of the human form.

Born from a time when the world was grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic, BODY reflects both the vulnerability and the incredible complexity of the human body. It’s a place of risk, but also of resilience, curiosity, and awe.
