A brand-new creative project from the collective Axolotl, Solaris took audiences on a journey through the life cycle of a star, all the way from the star nurseries where a star is born to its death and the formation of a pulsar.

The kinetic sculpture is a large motorised expandable sphere made up of thousands of individually mappable LEDs, which displays beautiful visual effects accompanied by voiceovers from very special guests Dara O’Briain and Professor Jocelyn Bell Burnell.
